History

How we got here

2024

Club Founded

Pegasus Pilots established at UCF — founding members came together with a shared passion for aviation and a mission to build something real. Early outreach laid the groundwork for a growing community.

2025

Tours, Airline Pilots & Tower Access

Members experienced hands-on aviation — airport ramp tours, air traffic control tower visits, and guest speakers including active airline captains and commercial pilots sharing real-world career insight.

2025

Sun 'n Fun, Resume Workshop & GOAA

Attended Sun 'n Fun Aerospace Expo, one of the premier aviation events in the country. Hosted an aviation-specific resume workshop and connected members with Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) internship opportunities.

2026

Sun 'n Fun Airshow — 2nd Largest in the U.S.

Pegasus Pilots returned to Sun 'n Fun Airshow — the second largest airshow in the country — exposing members to cutting-edge aircraft, industry professionals, and the full scale of aviation culture.
